Website Disclaimer

1. Independent status

The Big Health Community is operated independently by N-Chem Consultancy Ltd. It is not part of, controlled by or endorsed by the NHS, NHS England, the General Pharmaceutical Council, the Department of Health and Social Care or another public or regulatory body. References to NHS-commissioned or nationally recognised pharmacy services are descriptive only and do not imply endorsement.

2. Not a healthcare provider

We are a public-awareness and campaign-management service. We are not a pharmacy, healthcare provider, clinical service or emergency service and do not provide diagnosis, prescriptions, treatment or individual medical advice.

3. General health information only

Health-related content is general public-awareness information. It is not a substitute for assessment by an appropriate healthcare professional and must not be used to self-diagnose a serious condition or delay seeking appropriate care.

For urgent medical help use NHS 111 where appropriate, and call 999 for a life-threatening emergency.

4. Pharmacy responsibility

Participating pharmacies remain independently responsible for registration, governance, staffing, clinical assessment, prescribing and supply decisions, patient eligibility, consent, safeguarding, stock, service availability and lawful delivery of pharmacy services.

5. Service availability and eligibility

Pharmacy services vary by location and time and may be subject to commissioning, opening hours, capacity, stock, age, clinical criteria, contraindications, eligibility and professional assessment. Inclusion of a service in campaign material does not guarantee that any individual will be eligible for, receive or benefit from that service.

6. Medicines and prescription-only medicines

Public-facing material is intended to promote awareness of lawful pharmacy services and pathways, not to advertise prescription-only medicines to the public. Where a service may involve a prescription-only medicine, any decision to prescribe or supply is made independently by the responsible healthcare professional following appropriate assessment.

7. Advertising claims

We aim to ensure objective claims are supportable and that campaign material complies with applicable advertising and medicines rules. Health, service and public-health information can change. Content may therefore be amended, paused or withdrawn where guidance, licensing, commissioning or evidence changes.

8. Accuracy and currency

We use reasonable care when preparing material but cannot guarantee that every item remains complete, current or error-free at all times. Pharmacy details, opening hours, commissioning arrangements and service criteria can change without notice. Users should verify important information directly with the participating pharmacy or relevant official source before relying on it.

9. No guaranteed outcome

No income, enquiries, appointments, service uptake, impressions, views, reach, conversion, ranking, patient behaviour or return on investment is guaranteed. Campaign and business outcomes depend on factors outside our control.

10. Reporting limitations

Monthly Views and similar figures are aggregate platform-derived or manually compiled metrics and may include repeat views. They do not represent unique patients, appointments, attributable income or audited financial results. Timeline markers and campaign comparisons provide context only and do not establish causation.

11. Third-party platforms and links

Publication and external links may be affected by third-party platform rules, moderation, outages, algorithm changes, account restrictions or policy changes. We are not responsible for third-party websites, privacy practices, content or availability merely because we link to or publish through them.

12. Intellectual property and third-party marks

NHS names, third-party trade marks, logos and other protected materials remain the property of their respective owners. Their descriptive reference does not imply affiliation. The Big Health Community name, campaign materials, site design and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

13. No patient data

Do not submit patient names, NHS numbers, prescription details, consultation records, medical histories or other patient-identifiable clinical information through this website, portal, forms or ordinary email.

14. Cybersecurity and availability

We use reasonable security and continuity measures but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the website, portal or third-party services. Users are responsible for protecting their own credentials and devices.

15. Liability

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to mandatory law, information on the public website is provided for general awareness and business-information purposes and should not be relied on as clinical, legal, financial, tax or regulatory advice.

16. Changes

We may update this disclaimer when the service, website, law, regulation or relevant guidance changes.
